On Climate Change

Much is being said about global warming with all fingers pointing towards the human race as being the only culprit for causing it.  However, what everyone has forgotten, or ignored to acknowledge, is the earth's history, which in this instance is the earth's geological history.

Bear with me a moment and think about this:  How were the great lakes formed in North America?

They were formed by receeding glaciers after the most recent ice-age.

Just think about this for a moment:  The earth has always cycled through periods of both global warming and global cooling.  This is a well known scientifically documented fact.  It is well known that the Sahara Desert was not so in it's "previous life".

Examples abound.  They are right in front of everyone's eyes if one ever cares to open them and use the gray matter imprisioned between the ears.

The earth has, and will continue to, cycle through periods of drastic climatic changes.  And it is a slow process between the extremes with portions of relatively quick changes.

If one cares to go back and look at the weather history of North America, one will conclude that our winters have in fact been getting warmer over the last several years.  This has not happened overnight.  And it will not stop overnight.

If Al Gore and the rest are really concerned about global warming, then they should immediately stop using any and all items that they claim contribute to global warming.  He recently testified on the Hill.  How did he travel there?  The microphone he used needed electricity.  He was in a well lit room - electrically lit.  Energy was required to keep him thermally comfortable (heating/cooling system).  The list goes on.
